Are you going away to college this fall? Are you thinking about how you want to decorate your dorm room? Before the summer ends and you head off to school, check out these awesome do-it-yourself projects that can put a unique spin on your door room or bedroom!

Decorative Tidy Power Station

Chances are you have a TON of cords and you never now what’s what, so get organized just by using a job big enough to hold a power strip. Punch holes on the side of the box for each plug. You can also label each hole accordingly to stay neat and organized!

Magnetic Board

This is a great way to access all of your makeup or jewelry on a daily basis and keep them on display in a cute way.

You can purchase a frame, decorative paper of your choice and magnetic board (goes behind decorative paper) all at your local crafts store.

Perfect dorm decor that can be easily made and placed on a shelf, window sill or desk.
